Hosea 1:2 - ² When the Lord began to speak by Hosea, the Lord said to Hosea:

“Go, take yourself a wife of harlotry

And children of harlotry,

For the land has committed great harlotry

By departing from the Lord.”

Romans 5:8 - ⁸ But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 3:5 - ⁵ But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unjust who inflicts wrath? (I speak as a man.)

Isaiah 64:6 - ⁶ But we are all like an unclean thing,

And all our righteousnesses are like filthy rags;

We all fade as a leaf,

And our iniquities, like the wind,

Have taken us away.

Hosea 3:1 - 3 Then the Lord said to me, “Go again, love a woman who is loved by a lover and is committing adultery, just like the love of the Lord for the children of Israel, who look to other gods and love the raisin cakes of the pagans.”

Hosea 3:3 - ³ And I said to her, “You shall stay with me many days; you shall not play the harlot, nor shall you have a man—so, too, will I be toward you.”

Hebrews 10:24 - ²⁴ And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works
